This group is not a discussion group, but serves as a general listing of everyone with an ebike interested in contacting other ebikers in their area to maybe go on a ride or take a group (3 or more) tour. By compiling a list of ebike users, the association aims to assist in the formation of local ebike touring groups.

After you join, post a single message describing a bit about yourself, your ebike if you have one, and the area you plan to ride your ebike. Mention your country, state/province, county, and nearby cities, so that if someone does a search of the messages for ebikers in your area, your message will turn up. You may want to set your preferences to not recieve emails from this group, but if you do, drop by occasionally and search the posted messages for others in your area, then email them, not the group.

The hope is that once two or three ebikers in an area get together, they will become the founding members of a local ebike touring group. If you become interested in ebike touring, join the International eBike Touring Association (see Related Link below.)
