Bringing the focused power of California to 2004's swing states in support of John Kerry for President.

This group will organize motivated volunteers in Northern California interested in letter writing, phone banking, and group travel focused on GOTV efforts in swing states. All our efforts and activities will be coordinated with local Democratic and campaign organizations within these swing states.

From now until the July convention we will focus on research, related Bay Area events, minimal travel to swing states and organizing our volunteers. After the convention we will continue to organize local events and short trips, and begin organizing for group trips (mostly the last month of the campaign).

What Can You Do?

Planning Committee: join one of our teams to help coordinate with the swing states and other organizations, do research, organize local events, etc. (3 to 20 or more hours per month)

Action Team: sign up to be notified of planned events, and participate as you have the time and interest (includes Bay Area events, and weekend trips to nearby states)

Travel Team: if you want to spend a week or more in a swing state, sign up with the travel team and we’ll work to find a useful way for you to participate in the campaign (we strongly encourage local experience registering voters, etc. prior to travel)
