In the San Francisco Bay Area? East Bay Poly Potluck sponsors (surprise!) a monthly poly potluck in the east bay (Oakland/Berkeley/Richmond area and environs), a monthly poly discussion group, and occasional go-deeper special events. There's also a spinoff East Bay Poly Hiking & Dining gang that likes to go on nice walks followed by nice meals, and sometimes other activities like going to plays and shows together. Just normal fun folks doing normal fun things except we're poly.

The potlucks are social events where poly folks can hang out, chat, and enjoy each others' company. It's a social event, not a meat market or play party. (Nothing wrong with play parties but this isn't one.) Kids are welcome with adult supervision. That sort of thing.

The discussion group is a place to talk about what's going on for you in your poly life, both from the head and the heart.

There is no charge for any of this. We do it to meet and hang out with good folks who are into what we are. Community, and like that.

Who are we? Singles, couples, triads, more ... mostly straight and bi ... age from late twenties on up, with many folks in their thirties, forties, and fifties ... middle class-ish ... smart, educated (self-educated and over-educated also well represented) ... reasonably active and healthy ... typically Berkeley-ish alternative sensibilities ... various dabbling in personal growth stuff, tantra, the usual this & that ... does this help?
