Description

This is a group for owners, past, present and future of the East Orient 32 sailboats. Owners of Shearwater 32 and Union 32 can also join as the boats are similar and some EO 32's may have been imported as Shearwater 32's (these would have been built in the same yard). Also some Union 32 were built to the same design, but in another yard.

The East Orient has been designed by a well-known Canadian yacht designer, Ted Brewer. She is a medium displacement offshore cruising, canoe stern boat. For this one and other boats by Ted Brewer, see www.tedbrewer.com

EO 32 versus Union specifications
Does anyone know the basis for the discrepancy between the specifications ? 2k differences could be loaded versus not, but seems like an awfully big

Anyone have any ideas on how to get some fresh air into the quarterberth? Some natural light would be great too. I thought about a port in the cockpit well,
