This listserv is intended for parents and caregivers of children birth to three in Michigan who participate in early intervention (Early On). When a child is diagnosed with a developmental delay or medical diagnosis associated with delay, parents often find themselves faced with a steep learning curve and a confusing array of acronyms as they try to find services to meet their child’s needs.

We’d like to help make sense of the “system”, and help inform you about your rights and options. Our goal is to share experience and advice to meet the unique needs of infants and toddlers birth to three and provide support to the families that love them!

If you are a “graduate” of Early On with a passion for assisting other families, we would welcome your participation in mentoring families currently enrolled.
