Description

A group for Post-doctoral, PhD and advanced Masters students working within the broad field of Biblical Studies in order to:
- Provide an environment where ideas can be discussed and where research, resources and conference details can be exchanged
- Develop a network useful for the future careers of the members
- Build a network enabling the development of collaborative projects
- Offer graduate students a supportive environment for discussing differences in education practices, funding, supervision styles and other practical aspects of being a graduate student

This forum is the electronic arm of the European Association of Biblical Studies (EABS) Postgraduate Network. The organiation is in the foundation stages and this group is specifically set up to encourage membership and use of the network in its first year of operation. A review meeting is planned in August 2008 at the EABS Annual Conference in Lisbon. Everybody is welcome!

The group is academic in nature and members are welcome from all walks of life, especially those studying in Europe but also from across the world. Tolerance and understanding of beliefs and practices other than ones own are essential.
