The Edelweiss Community is located between Winthrop and Mazama in North Central Washington state.

This is meant to be an open discussion group that will allow all owners of property in the Edelweiss community to chat about anything having to do directly with our community and to a lesser degree, those peripheral issues of indirect interest to Edelweiss property owners and residents.

Examples of subjects of interest are the bear and cattle problems or sightings, snow, water, power, DSL, WiFi, phone service, burns, USFS logging, roads, the pool, the trails, the EMC, etc. While these discussions may be of lesser interest to some, the list provides members with settings for various levels of Email frequency from no Email (web viewing only), to digesting (once a day if there are 1 or more daily posts) or every post immediately sent to you (typical setting).

At this time, the group is open only to Edelweiss property owners. This may change as the group matures. If you decide to join, be sure to include in your comments, your regular Email address (Do NOT use your Yahoo address!!!), your physical address or lot number and a telephone number. This info is for administration of this list only to determine that you are an owner. Yahoo does not supply any information. Your info will not be released by any moderator(s).

The moderators of the group are able to send out special notices to every member if it's deemed important to over ride a members limited email deliveries. So even if you don't want anything but a priority Email, you still need to join. You will have no access to any of the features or benefits as listed in the menu on the left edge of this page unless you join.

This discussion list is not sanctioned by nor supported officially by the EMC. EMC board members may also be members of this group but presumably that would be be there personal decision with no nexus to official board activities.
