This forum is not a support forum for e-Sword or Pocket e-Sword (see eSword forum for that).

This forum is for the storage, distribution, and support of the 3rd party tools used to create modules for use with e-Sword and Pocket e-Sword. As such, it is not affiliated with Rick Meyers in any way.

Notes on e-Sword and Pocket e-Sword Modules

The Pocket e-Sword and the desktop e-Sword use different database formats. Modules in one format cannot be used with the other product.

Ben's e-Sword Tool (BeST) 2 Premium converts a number of different types of desktop e-Sword modules to Pocket e-Sword modules. The 'Standard' version (available from this yahoo forum) does not directly make Pocket e-Sword modules.

BeST 2 Premium is given to anyone who sends a donation (via PayPal or personal check, etc.) to the author. You can send a donation by clicking the 'PayPal Donate' button in BeST 2 Standard, or send one via PayPal to BeST . Support @ shaw . ca.

If you do not want to donate, you can also try using BeST 2 Standard to export a module to .xml and then use an old product I wrote called BPeST (Ben's Pocket e-Sword Tool) to convert the .xml to a Pocket e-Sword module on your device. This is an old, mostly unsupported program that doesn't do all of the module types that BeST 2 Premium does, yet still can be used to create Pocket e-Sword bibles, commentaries, and dictionaries.
