Hi Tammie,

A simple email to <support@...> will do the job. Just write the
mail and ask for help/support. I got mine the same day.

Hi friends

When i am transmitting, the skimmer sees my signal with on offset of
approx. 610 Hz.

Say i'm replying to someone on 14.020, it will display my CW at 14.020.61

Of course, i'm not working split. The K3 display doesn't change frequency.

Config: K3 + LP-PAN + SKIMMER

Any idea ?

Thanks

I think that is the amount of your Pitch frequency. I also wish that going from
one roofing filter to the other would not ruin the point-and-click vfo
operation.

Subject: Split control with omni rig and k3

I am using an sdr iq with skimmer and a k3. It seems to work ok until I attempt
to work split.
While in split it is fine. But when I want to leave split the display on the
W2rf rig sync panel will not go back to normal. It stays in split. The result
is now when I click a spot
in skimmer it will only tne vfo b, which would normally be the tx freq in split.

I first contacted Ed - W2RF - and he had seen this before on a ts950. when he
updated his omni rig ini files it cleared the problem. I updated the rig files
but still get the same problem.
Anyone else have this issue or a resolution for it?

Thanks

I think I confirmed this as a K3 Omni Rig problem. I changed the rig ini file
to the TS-2000 and the split seems to function OK.

Lp Pan reads the various filter information for use with the PowerSDR programs.
It may be allot of work for Alex but he may be able to capture the info from
LP-Bridge to compensate.

That would be fine !

Because at the moment, we have on offset pbm when transmitting, and also
when changing filter.

I don't know how Alex handles features requests and priorities, but
let's hope he reads this msg !

I see the same behaviour. When web cluster spots are on, then all spots
become rounded to
nearest kHz. Using telnet spots only gives right QRG with one decimal. So I
can use only telnet clusters.

Hello guys,
I accidentally found that if I enter prefix into DX Call field in HamCAP
program, it point to wrong place in some cases. Let's say LU point to 62S 60W
which google maps shows is almost antarctic and of course, propagation should be
a lot different that what in Argentina ~34S ~64W is. Prefix CE also points to
antarctic. HC8 is correct. I did not check other prefixes, but wrong lat/long
may exist.
Is that only in my computer? If not, it probably should be corrected. I can
enter lat, long manually, but... Most often I even do not look into map page.
Just chart is enough.

There is only one view of CW Skimmer, and that has the waterfall
"flowing" horizontally right to left. The callsign window goes
vertically, and can be set to list the received calls in order of time,
frequency or callsign (alphabetical). Perhaps that is what you remember
from the web site.

Hi Rien,

In the default 3-kHz mode the waterfall display in CW Skimmer look
horizontal because it cannot be resized vertically. To see more than 3 kHz
of spectrum, you have to use one of the wideband receivers supported by the
Skimmer, such as SoftRock or QS1R.

BandMaster 1.42
Firefox 3.5.2
Windows XP Pro SP3

When I right-click a spot and select "Lookup at QRZ.COM...", my browser opens
with the URL "http://www.qrz.com/detail/<call>", but QRZ.COM opens to its home
page.

If I look up a call manually, the URL just shows as "http://www.qrz.com/db/"

Has QRZ.COM's interface changed, has the last update to Firefox broken
something, or something else?

The Register selection opens a popup that allows you to register your copy
of DX Atlas.
Clicking the Order Key button brings up your Web browser at the DX Atlas Web
page. Follow the instructions on this page to order a registration key for
your copy of DX Atlas.

When you receive your key, open the Register dialog again, copy the key
(using Ctrl-C) and paste it (using Ctrl-V) into the window. (If you received
your registration key by postal mail or fax (not recommended!) , very
carefully type the key into the window EXACTLY as given.) Click on the Apply
Key button, and then close and restart DX Atlas. Your copy will now be
registered to you, and the title bar of the About Box will show the name
(and optionally the callsign) under which you registered your copy.

If you do not register your copy, your use under the License is limited to a
30-day evaluation period from the date you installed the program.

I looked on my registered copy and I can't find the register selection
anywhere, I would e-mail the author.

Subject: OmniRig and MixW

I'm using OmniRig with an Elecraft K3 and two OmniRig-enabled applications,
XMLog and MixW.

XMLog is working well with OmniRig but I'm having trouble with MixW. With
OmniRig running MixW tracks frequency, band and mode changes but I can't get
MixW to put the tranceiver into transmit mode.

In MixW, in the Configure --> TrCVR CAT / PTT I have CAT set to OmniRig and
PTT/CAT port select set to none.

Is there something else I need to do in the MixW configuration to enable
transit? Is this a problem with OmniRig or MixW/

Thanks.
