In an effort to consolidate DPO's online resources, we have closed the dumboparents.org website and welcome folks to our DUMBO Parents Organization's yahoo group!

This group is intended to be a resource for families with children of all ages living and/or working in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn.

It works as an information exchange - not for commercial solicitations, though self-employed owners of kid-related businesses in the immediate area are permitted PERIODIC postings for upcoming scheduled events.

Looking for a good pediatrician? Need to borrow a pack-n-play? Want some advice about potty training? Seeking input about a stroller purchase? Want to organize a play group for your toddler? These are some reasons to join our group.

In an effort to keep the group close-knit and the conversation relevant, you are asked to provide a brief reason for your interest in joining.

COMMERCIAL POST RULES: When posting an email to the DUMBO PARENTS Yahoo Group that specifically promotes a business offer available to all members, it should be marked as a "Commercial Post" in the subject line of the message.

**The Commercial Post should be relevant to the DUMBO area parents/children.
**The Commercial Post email should be signed (first, last name) and have appropriate contact information (email and/or phone number).
**Please limit Commercial Posts to no more than two per month.
