This is a safe on-line community. I have learned a great deal and I am willing to share my journey with you all if it will help someone else along the way. I am in no way an expert. I recently learned that myself as well as my 11 year old (as of 11-04-2011) are both discoverers. If you have not read Dreamers, Discoverers, and Dynamos by Lucy Jo Palladina, PhD. formerly titled The Edison Trait I suggest you buy it. It has become my Bible. Beyond this book I have found very little information or help. So this is my attempt to learn from like minded folks and share experiences and challenges esp. where parenting these kiddos are concerned.
