This is the home of the Drastic Plastics Model Car Club. Founded in 2004 as a standard yahoo group, the DPMCC has steadily become one of the only real model clubs on the internet. Yahoo groups is a great place to share our models, ideas, lives and to learn while enjoying the great hobby of scale model building. Drastic members exceed the "norm" and as a club we go above the call of duty to help everyone in the hobby and expand to horizons farther than most. You will find that members here are very straight forward, helping and honest. We don't allow new members or standing members to remain in our home if they are not known as good honest traders. Anomosity does happen from time to time, but that is part of the growing pains of such a place. We have about half of our members that prefer using our proboards forum which can be found on our internet web site at www.thedpmcc.com. We have two different types of membership, but everyone is treated with the same respect and fairness. Our Gold Members receive unlimited photo hosting on our fotki photo site. Our site is one of the most frequently updated and visited in the world, this is testament by visiting www.fotki.com. Members range from 13-70's in age. We are beginners, novice, advanced and masters of our own work. We have several after market suppliers as members who provide great customer service. Since day one it has been in the best interest of everyone here to think before emailing the whole club. Every person will interpret what you say differently.
