Downwinders' mailing list is a forum for downwinders -- those exposed to radioactive fallout and other toxics from nuclear weapons testing, and other military facilities, and from nuclear waste sites in their region. Its purpose to to allow for open discussion of issues of interest to such people, and to provide an environment where they can network and share ideas, concerns, and experiences.

In addition the list is open for discussion on superfund clean-up and nuclear waste issues.
