A crafting group that used to meet in downtown Columbus, started August/September 2004, and now meets in Clintonville. We welcome knitters, crocheters, embroidery artists, cross-stitchers, or any others who do portable crafts. We are primarily knitters, but all are always welcome!
While we have a core group that makes it to most of the meetings, we usually have at least a couple of new people each meeting, so please, if you haven't come before, don't be shy about showing up. We're a friendly bunch. We're also a fairly casual group, so just show up to the meetings that fit your schedule.
We meet three times a month, and our locations vary. Meeting dates are as follows:
-2nd Saturday at 2 pm at Global Gallery in Clintonville
-3rd Wednesday at Cafe Mojoe/Cup of Joe in Union Station Place (I-670 cap)
-4th Saturday at 2 pm at Wonderknit in Clintonville.
Parking information is located in the files section of this website.
If you are a new member, check the calendar in the left menu for upcoming dates. The calendar listings are updated regularly in the case of any location changes, so please double check before attending.
Also, if you want a Columbus-area group that doesn't meet downtown, check out our Links section -- there are a lot of groups in the Columbus area that are active right now.
NOTE as of January 2006: Like many other SNB groups, we received a notice to stop using that phrase from NYC sewing company SFSE. While the trademark dispute is being hashed out, we're downtownColumbusKnitting. To learn more, see this website: http://freetostitchfreetobitch.org/ .
