RELIGION, RACE, INCOME, FAMILY STRUCTURE, AGE, ETC. are NOT important to this group's participation.

The Diverse group is ages 3-14 approximately, with many younger and older that participate. We have several activities that we regularly run (themed days, game days, park days, social gatherings, etc.), as well as great field trips we take. It is about enjoying learning and supplementing what the children are already obtaining at home. We are not structured around a curriculum nor do we run structured classes with homework or assignments.

This group is an inclusive group. None of the following are important to belong to Diverse; religion, income, family composition, race, or political viewpoints. All are welcome.

Stop in. Talk about your homeschooling or local events you know about that could make it better for all of us! The group focuses mainly on Genesee County homeschoolers, but also welcomes homeschoolers from the following Michigan counties nearby; Livingston, Saginaw, Tuscola, Shiawasee, Lapeer, Oakland, and Washtenaw.
