What is this? A homeschool group who meets at the theme park!

Walt Disney refused to separate entertainment from education and challenged the assumption that entertainment has little educational value. He knew that "education was not confined to schools but implicit in the broader realm of popular culture and its own mechanisms for the production of knowledge and values. He also knew that it had to be lively and enjoyable." (The Mouse That Roared by Henry A. Giroux, p. 18)

As list members, we are always interested in the educational experiences that we can have at Disneyland/CA Adventure. This will be a forum where we can share the educational gems we notice there, and even ideas for at-home follow-up activities.

NOTE: Any member can post details about when they will be attending and invite others to join them.
