Cover picture displays John Dillinger posing at his father's farm in Mooresville, Indiana. Dillinger holds the wooden gun he used to bluff guards and the 1921 Thompson machine gun that he stole during his escape. Photograph was taken after Dillinger's famous break out from the proclaimed "Escape-proof" Crown Point jail.
I had the honor of firing 20 rounds from John Dillinger's actual 1921 Thompson machine gun at the Porter County Sheriff's Department, courtesy of Deputy Sheriff Dave Lain. Pulling the trigger was both an honor and a thrill.
Enjoy. Relax, ask questions and share your stories. Thank you,
