Dharma Buddies is a Buddhist meditation and discussion group for Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender men in the Seattle area. L/B/T Buddhist women may want to check out the Lotus Sisters group. Also see our links to other groups.

Dharma Buddies meets Sundays at 11:00 am for a 45-minute silent meditation followed by tea and conversation. Dharma Buddies meets at Cal Anderson House, located at 400 Broadway on the northeast corner of Broadway and Terrace Street, just north of where Broadway and Boren intersect. The site is fully ADA accessible.

We are a diverse group with a wide range of backgrounds and experience with Buddhist teachings. We endeavor to practice deep listening and mindful speech as we share insights and discuss questions relative to our lives as gay Buddhists.

Our email list is moderated. By default, replies are sent only to the sender of the original message. Only messages that are relevant to the entire group will be distributed to the group. We encourage you to post informative, inspirational, non-commercial messages for Gay, Bi, and Trans men who study or practice Buddhist meditation.
