As a home school leader, to rise above and beyond your individual best, you need a certain kind of environment in which to examine where you've been and where you want to go. You need a special space to function and grow. For me, that environment would kindle relationships that would inspire me to become more than just an administrator, activity coordinator or delegator. It would help me to become a leader others want to follow.

Leaders strengthening leaders. Broadening our abilities to meet the needs of home school families. Getting to know the people behind the acronyms that represent our groups. Helping families make home school connections within their local communities. Preserving the heritage of the home school movement while developing our roles of influence and relevancy to the present day home school family.

This network is for sharing information available to D/FW Metroplex home school leadership. Its sole purpose is for the development of relationships that will ground, empower and sustain us. I hope that through the distribution of resources, insights, ideas and encouragement we will raise a new standard uniting the different groups in the home school community and propel us to become the leaders we really aspire to be.
