dfwDance.com introduces a new web site feature. Now Yahoo Subscribers can view AND POST a dance event in a public calendar by clicking the "All Dance Calendar" Link. To view the calendar you must have or establish a yahoo user account. To post to the calendar you must join the dfwDance yahoo group. There are only three guidelines: (1) The posts MUST BE ABOUT DANCE, Swing, Salsa, Ballroom Dance, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, etc... (2) They must include a valid phone number for event schedule details and last minute confirmations, and (3) Posts must be in text message format. The calendar cannot accept graphics or attachments. The web master will periodically scan the calendar and delete any posts that do not conform to the calendar guidelines. This feature is being offered to help all individuals, businesses and organizations promoting ligitimate dance events including performances, lessons, and social dances. Please honor the guidelines and post only those events you know have been scheduled and include a valid PHONE NUMBER. Email addresses or any other forms of contact information are not suitable substitutes for valid phone numbers.
