Description

DFC_Talk Mission

A discussion forum for the Democratic Freedom Caucus which encourages the Democratic Party to promote freedom-oriented policies.

Please see http://www.democraticfreedomcaucus.org for more information.

List Rules

  1. Civil behavior is a must (eg no insults, threats, ad hominems, or obscenity). The list moderators reserve the right to edit posts that use egregious ad hominems. All edited portions will, however, be marked as having been altered by a moderator.
  2. Stay on topic.   This list is for people who favor promoting progressive, pro-freedom views within the Democratic Party. It is not intended to provide a general forum for discussing political philosophy. This list's focus is caucus and party building with a progressive, pro-freedom focus. If you're interested in having a more general philosophical discussion, please move the thread to the Pro Liberty Democrats list.
  3. Please limit yourself to three posts per day. Although occasionally exceeding the three post limit may be tolerated at the moderators’ discretion, any postings above three per day may be cited as an abuse of the list's rules.

We have no intention of policing this list, but blatant disregard for the rules may result in any of the following in no particular order: moderation, loss of posting rights, removal from the list or a warning.

List Etiquette

In addition to the above rules, we encourage use of common etiquette. We won't enforce etiquette, but it’s strongly encouraged. A good source of list etiquette can be found at the Netiquette Home Page
