The "detain-ICE" group is listed in Yahoo as a public group, but consists primarily of members of the Wake County Bar and friends of the Bar. Dealing with the new ICE procedures in our county interests more than only defense attorneys, and needs to be understood by all court personnel as well as members of the community. All, then, are invited to this particular group, and attorneys are urged to refrain from posting confidential or privileged information here due to the public nature. It is expected that the local attorneys who join this group will eventually comprise a local list-serve, from which a non-public group will additionally surge.
