My best guess is Ocular Migraine. It has various forms and is usually painless and harmless. Google "ocular (or optic) migraine and you'll find out more

Get thyself along to a doctor seems to be the maxim of this group, but that aside, would it be the visual side of a migraine? I've had an increased occurrence
