This web site was established to allow communication and exchange of information between Det. 8 Association members. The club is open to all former members of Det. 8, members of other CEVG units who become members of the association, and other former members of other CEVG units who request entrance. This picture is of the Combat Skyspot memorial at the 8th Air Force Museum, Barksdale AFB, LA, and shows only the right tablet honoring the 12 men who lost their lives when the site was overrun 41 years ago on 10-11 March 1968. May they rest in peace.
