This group is for NW, Beading, and Quilt designers, both new and established, to focus on and explore the business aspects of design, as well as to provide the tools and skills needed to minimize the dangers of exploitation. It is for those who are engaged in design as a profit generating endeavor or for those who are actively preparing to do so. The creative aspects of design are not being dropped, but the emphasis will be on how they apply to the business and profit making aspects of a business.

It is acknowledged that each member will be making the decisions that are right for her/his own business. It is the goal of this group to provide the resources to make informed decisions.

Members are asked to participate with professionalism, integrity, and be respectful of, and toward, other members' talents, methods, visions, and opinions. Professional matters regarding any aspect of the business of Needlework, Quilting, and Beading are appropriate topics for discussion. Respectful disagreement is welcome.

This group is for you if:
1) you think you would like to enter the world of NW design, Beading, or Quilt design
2) you wish to advance your business and your skills

Those interested in joining us are welcome to apply for membership and will be sent further instructions regarding the submission of a statement of their Design business interest. Failure to respond to this request in a reasonable time will result in denial of membership. However, prospective members are welcome to reapply at a time when they are able respond.

New members are requested to introduce themselves within a week and are encouraged to give a brief (one paragraph) description of their business goals.
