Description

Desert Mozaic is a support group for intersexed persons, meeting once a month in Tucson, AZ.

We are just getting started, so please expect this description, and the group, to go through some changes in upcoming months.

We currently define intersexed as individuals who have, or think they may have, unusual medical, genetic, and/or hormonal sexual gender issues from birth that are causing, or may cause, medical problems. Intersexuality is not a lifestyle choice.

Intersexed individuals as well as their significant others, family, friends, and allies (SOFFAs) are welcome in this group.

DESERT MOZAIC IS NOT A DATING SERVICE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DATE OR SEXUAL ENCOUNTER, PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. INAPPROPRIATE POSTS OR POSTERS WILL BE REMOVED.

Weekly meetings in Tucson are coming in 2009.Location TBA in later posting,so keep checking in and drop us a line,we'd love to hear from you.

NEW PROJECT IN WORKS TO PROVIDE HOUSING AND A BRIDGE TO BETTER ONESELF AND EDUCATE OTHERS AS WELL AS GETTING PROPER MEDICAL TREATMENT.

From here out we'll be known as Charbo's Desert Mozaic.
Any questions you can contact either Founder/Ex.President:Charlene Sloan or President:Bobby "Bo" Berresford through Desert Mozaic.
