***THIS GROUP IS 'LIVE' FROM 11th JUNE 2008 TO COINCIDE WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE 2008-2009 EDITION***
This is a group for the New York City craft beer community to collectively add and share updates to Beer Demystifier New York City 2008-2009, available free to download or read at www.gotham-imbiber.com.
WHAT SHOULD BE POSTED:
News of new beers, bottled or draft, that have recently appeared in the distribution chain in New York City. Please give as much information (e.g. ABV%, style) as possible.
Breweries that have secured a NYC distributor since the book was published.
Newly opened beer bars and beer-friendly restaurants that carry a good selection (50%+) of craft beers and could be considered a beer destination. ***NOTE*** Posts of this nature may be deleted by the moderator if the bar or store is not deemed worthy of potential inclusion in Beer Demystifier.
Corrections or changes to beers or places.
WHAT SHOULD ***NOT*** BE POSTED:
Chat, questions, general comments (including 'thank you' posts), anything already listed in the publication (unless pointing out a change), anything that can be considered spam or free advertising, anything off-topic. Please double check the accuracy of your information before posting, and please don't post something that is listed in the 2008-2009 edition (please check before posting) unless reporting a change. Do not post updates to the original (2008) edition, this has been superseded by the 2008-2009 second edition.
