I was born and raised in the Lone Star State, the oldest of three children. I've been married for seven years, and I have two daughters. Rebekah is five and starting Kindergarten in the Fall. Ella is 16 months and tearing through the house. With such a young and active family, my personal time is limited, but I am focused on making writing a career. I am thrilled that THE WAY WE BEGAN was my debut novel!

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated, but in addition to the events stated above, my husband and I built a new home. The quick sale of our previous home left us "homeless" for almost two months..with a baby!

Through it all, I've remained optimistic and full of love. When it comes to my writing career, I still live by the words of Alfred lord Tennyson, "To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."
