Terrorists are losing patience
January 22, 2001
Belgrade, January 22 (Tanjug) - Serbian Co-Minister of the Transitional
government Biserka Matic-Spasojevic evaluated that more and more
attacks on army and police positions in the region of Bujanovac, Presevo
and Medvedje, "are the consequence of losing patience of ethnic Albanian
terrorists but also their mutual conflicts".
In the statement for today's issue of "Blitz", she pointed out that ethnic
Albanian terrorists know that "our general position is to solve that problem
diplomatically and we have the right to fight against them with appropriate
measures".
Consolidating positions in Lucane, "at only 50 meters from our police",
ethnic Albanian terrorists think that they will "provoke our forces and
make international community to bomb again", she said and added that
our authorities will not allow terrorists to stage manage "new humanitarian
catastrophe".
The world finally realized that those who keep their compatriots as
prisoners are terrorists, Matic stressed and evaluated that police and
military forces disposed in southern Serbia are enough for wiping out
ethnic Albanian terrorism and "that their increase are not even discussed at
the moment".
According to her evaluation, frequent armed provocations are the product
of battle for control among leaders of ethnic Albanian terrorists.
Muhamed Dzemailj, leader of "king's group", is the most dangerous and
American KFOR knows that very well, she said and explained that his
conflict with Sefket Jusli who is the head in Veliki Trnovac and Sacir
Saciri "is that crack" and "our chance" in the battle against them.
