No Presumption of Innocence for Yugoslavia
Today, when the whole wide word knows that the Serbian army did not commit a
massacre of unarmed Albanian civilians in the village of Racak, and that the
corrective bombing of Serbia's citizens was the punishment for uncommitted
atrocities, will international guardians, humanitarians and judges question
publicly
the principles they are still faithful to?
The latest report by Finnish forensic experts could also induce the
international
community to revitalise or re-examine its other accusations that seem to us as
verdicts made beforehand, because the major legal tenet of presumed innocence
apparently does not apply to Serbia and Yugoslavia.
