ON THE CRIME COMMITTED IN OBILIC

Once again it is with great concern that we express our protest to the
international community, the UN mission in Kosovo and to KFOR due to the
recent continuation in brutal fashion of ethnic cleansing of Serbs in
Kosovo and Metohija, especially in ethnically mixed locations. One of
these crimes occurred on December 28, 2000 before the eyes of the
international community and was committed by extremist Albanians in
Obilic where 71 year-old Dragan Rapajic was first tortured, then
murdered on the threshold of his home before the eyes of his wife
Vukosava Rapajic, who was also brutally tortured. We once again appeal
to UNMIK and KFOR, as well as to the entire international community, to
find the perpetrators of this crime and see that they are punished, and
to prevent the process of genocide in Kosovo and Metohija which
continues to this day.
