Police attacked again near village of Lucane

Bujanovac, December 28 (Tanjug) - At 6.30 am this morning ethnic
Albanian terrorists opened fire at Serbian police in the village of
Lucane, Vranje police station chief, Colonel Novica Zdravkovic said.
Police were fired at repeatedly, but there were no reports of casualties,
Colonel Zdravkovic said.
Terrorist attacks on police were also reported in the region of Sveti Ilija
peak above Vranje yesterday, which was recaptured by Serbian police
on Sunday.
From the village of Djordjevac on the fringes on Mt. Kukavica terrorists
fired six mortar shells and several grenades from hand-held launchers, but
no casualties were reported among police in this incident.
Several shots were also registered from the direction of Madjere and
Gospodjince villages, municipality of Presevo yesterday, and a group of
eight terrorists was spotted in the village of Bukovac, Zdravkovic said.
According to the latest reports from military sources, some 50 ethnic
Albanian terrorists are currently located in the village of Bukovac, and
some 20 others in the village of Gospodjince.
