Incidents During the Past 24 Hours
Multinational Brigade North
Traffic Accident
Yesterday morning, a KFOR Danish Battalion's car was involved in a
traffic accident with a boy in the village of Caber / Cabra. The boy,
slightly injured, was transported to the Moroccan Hospital with his
father. The accident is under investigation.
Multinational Brigade Centre
Nothing significant to report.
Multinational Brigade West
Nothing significant to report.
Multinational Brigade South
Traffic Accident
Yesterday morning a KFOR German utility vehicle was involved in a
traffic accident with a civilian vehicle near Suhareke / Suva Reca. No
injuries were reported to the occupants of either vehicle. The accident
is under investigation.
Explosion Investigated
Last night an explosion occurred in front of a Kosovar Albanian shop in
Prizren. There is no report of injuries in connection with the blast.
KFOR Task Force Dragas Explosive Ordnance Disposal experts were sent to
the scene to investigate. Initial reports indicate the blast was caused
by a home-made bomb.
Multinational Brigade East
Unexploded Ordnance
Yesterday early afternoon, soldiers from the KFOR Task Force 1-35 Armor
found a grenade outside a house in Cernice / Cernica. KFOR Explosive
Ordnance Disposal experts were sent to the scene. After careful
examination, the KFOR Explosive Ordnance Disposal soldiers destroyed the
grenade at the site of the find. The soldiers searched the house and
found no illegal weapons.
