Incidents During the Past 24 Hours

Nothing Significant to Report.
Multinational Brigade Centre
Booby-Trap Found In Front Of Roma House
Yesterday morning, Multinational Brigade Centre reported that a handgrenade
connected to 800 grams of TNT had been found attached to a gate to a Roma
house in the village of Hallac i Vogel / Mali Alas. KFOR Explosive Ordnance
Disposal experts went to the location, and safely removed the device for further
examination.
Vehicle Searched; Weapon Found
Late yesterday evening, KFOR Multinational Brigade Centre soldiers stopped and
searched a civilian car at a checkpoint in Prishtina / Pristina. During the
search of
the vehicle the soldiers found a pistol. The weapon was confiscated and the
driver
of the vehicle was handed over to UNMIK Police.
Unexploded Ordnance Found
Yesterday evening, a local Kosovo Albanian man reported that he had found an
80mm shell beside Route Rat near the village of Hajvali / Ajvalija. KFOR
Explosive
Ordnance Disposal experts were sent to the location and destroyed the shell at
the site of the find.
Multinational Brigade West
Houses Searched; Weapons Found
Early yesterday morning, KFOR Task Force Pegasus soldiers conducted a search
operation in the village of Doberdol / Dobri Dol. During the search the soldiers
found one semiautomatic rifle and five rounds of ammunition, one hunting rifle
and
two ammunition magazines for an AK-47 assault rifle. The illegal items were
confiscated and one man was detained in connection with the search operation
and later handed over to UNMIK Police.
Man Jumps Into KFOR Compound
Yesterday afternoon, a man living in a house near the Multinational Brigade West
Headquarters jumped from a window when three men threatened him. Police from
the Military Specialized Unit responded immediately and detained the three men.
In connection with this incident the KFOR Italian Military Police conducted a
search of the homes of the three men. During the search of the home of one of
the
three men, the Military Police found one AK-47 assault rifle and two ammunition
magazines. KFOR Italian Military Police and UNMIK Police are investigating.
House Searched; Weapons Found
Early yesterday morning, the KFOR Military Specialized Unit conducted a house
search in Peje / Pec. During the search the Military Specialized Unit found
three
pistols, two ammunition magazines and 117 rounds of assorted ammunition. The
illegal items were confiscated and three men were handed over to UNMIK Police in
connection with the incident.

Unexploded Ordnance Found
On Friday evening, A KFOR Task Force Prizren patrol found a 152mm-illumination
shell beside Route Lion South of the village of Sefce / Sevce. KFOR German
Explosive Ordnance Disposal experts were sent to the location of the
illumination
shell and safely removed it.
Car Searched; Weapons Found
Late on Friday evening, A KFOR Task Force Malisevo patrol stopped and
searched a civilian car at a checkpoint in Malisheve / Malisevo. During the
search
of the vehicle the soldiers found one AK-47 assault rifle and 30 rounds of
ammunition. The illegal items were confiscated and the driver of the vehicle was
handed over to UNMIK Police.
Multinational Brigade East
Houses Searched; Weapons Found
Early yesterday morning, KFOR Task Force 2-237 conducted a cordon and search
operation in the town of Klokot. Among the illegal items found during the search
were five pistols, six shotguns, six rifles, ten assault rifles, eight
handgrenades,
one tommy gun, 472 rounds of 8mm ammunition, six boxes of ammunition and
seven bags of assorted ammunition. The weapons and ammunition were
confiscated.
Another Bomb Threat In Gjilan / Gnjilane
Yesterday evening, KFOR Task Force 1-36 reported that UNMIK Police had
received another bomb threat against the Gjilan / Gnjilane Information Centre.
The
building was evacuated and a search conducted by Explosive Ordnance
