Great poet's wish has been fulfilled

Belgrade, October 19 (Tanjug) - Jovan
Ducic's remains, after 57 years of resting in
foreign country reached Belgrade.
Members of Serbian Association of writers,
friends, relatives, Republika Srpska
delegation and Serbs' delegation from the
USA were present.
President of the council for return of
Ducic's remains, Branko Tupanjac said that
he is very excited because the wish of Serbian poet has been fulfilled at
last, after 57 years, and because he was returned to the native country.
In Belgrade Orthodox cathedral, Serbian Orthodox Patriarch Pavle gave
a mass for the peace of poet's soul, and numerous citizens bowed to his
shadow with dignity.
After the mass, Patriarch reminded that Ducic left the country for a trip to
see the world very young and there spent the whole life, but in his
testimony he expressed wish to rest in native Trebinje.
