We are dancing tongues
Black, We know who we are. We
Know who We are not.

//\\ Our primary purpose as an online writing workshop is to offer a psychologically safe space to African descended writers. Thus, we submit works in progress to "de Space" and stand prepared to offer and receive constructive criticism. We also participate in writing exercises and activities to improve and focus our writing. We are positive, patient and productive people. We are honest, respectful and courageous. We are self-determined, supportive and uncensored. We are artistic and political. We read. We write. We struggle. We resolve. We bleed, laugh, cry, breathe, and dance. We are lovers of our People. Visionaries. Forward moving. We exist as a virtual lifeline to inspire truth telling, testimony, and publication.
