DC_Chinese_Singles(DCCS), a non-profit, volunteer group that is dedicated to bring the Chinese singles in the DC area together for friendships; dating and committed relationships leading to marriage. It will provide Chinese single friends a place to participate in various healthy and casual social activities that are initiated and created by the members themselves. Its mission is to create a social environment for singles to interact with others, cultivate love and friendships, develop support groups, etc. We organize main group event every one or two months, with smaller activities taking place during the month. If you are too busy in your career or school, but still want to find ideal quality friendships that could lead to finding your life partner, then come to join us!

You are welcome to use on-line group facilities to post ideas, plans and responses; to initiate activities such as barbecues in a park, playing balls at the beach, mountain hiking, bicycling, watching shows and any kind of other informal indoor or outdoor activities.

The following behavior should apply to all group members:
- NO COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING!!
- Sensitive topics such as politics or religion should be avoided!
- Anyone found to deviate from the group goals will have all their messages deleted and be dropped from the group.

New member policy:
- New member is required to provide their name, gender and the month that he/she was born for membership approval!
