Welcome to our Dragon*Con parade discussion group.
Our 10th Anniversary parade was spectacular and now, a fond memory for many.
Start making your plans to join us in 2012! We'll be marching on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, GA on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM.

UPDATES (2/18/2012)
2012 Parade Registration is OPEN! Click on the "Database" link in the nav bar to find the 2012 database. Sign up now! Deadline to register is August 15 and if we've reached capacity by then there will be no at-con sign up again this year.
====================================================
We welcome groups, large and small, as well as individuals wearing costumes representing the wide variety of interests found at Dragon*Con. We invite you to sing, perform, role play, interact with each other and the onlookers along the parade route. Banners, flags, streamers, floats, decorated vehicles, music and other noisemakers are allowed and encouraged. Show off your alter ego! Be creative! Have fun!
You must be a member of Dragon*Con by parade day in order to march with us.
You'll find a Parade FAQ in both the "Database" and "Files" sections of this group. You'll also find Parade ROUTE MAPS and our very important PARADE GUIDELINES in the "Files" section. Click the links in the navigation bar to the left of the page and take a few moments to read through them.
New members are moderated until sufficient messages have been posted by them to determine they did not join for commercial (spam or other advertising) purposes.
Looking for more information? Have a suggestion for an addition to the parade? Send us an email at dc_parade (at) dragoncon.org.

May be something we have to organize on our own with some private lot nearby. Probably not enough ROI for the DC staff to do. I have to imagine with some
