DC Celtic Events is a resource for Celtic themed type events in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Events posted on the list include Celtic festivals, Gaelic, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh events, highland games, madrigal, medieval, and renaissance feasts, renaissance faires and festivals, musical events, and other related events. Major events outside of the DC area may be listed such as east coast renaissance faires, highland games, and such.

Membership in the group is restricted and must be approved by the moderator. The Group is not open to member posts. Members may submit events for consideration to the moderator.

To suggest an event for listing on DC Celtic Events, send an e-mail to: emeralddragon@mac.com. Please include a description of the event (date, time, location), contact information, including phone numbers, e-mail addresses, web sites, etc. Examples of events that would fit into this list are SCA events, mercs/rogues/wenches guild events, parties for the renaissance crowd, birthday parties, kilted invasions, concerts, etc.
