What do you mean we have 10 laws that we don't keep. Its more like ten
rooms full of thick government documents that we do not keep (thank
goodness). 100 basic laws/principles that covered all situations would be a
huge improvement would it not?

Missing nothing. I refer to the original:
(from Matthew 22)
"Master, which is the great commandment
in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment. And
the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love
thy neighbour as thyself. On these two
commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
I agree with your assertion that we can't keep
ten commandments, why try for 100. However, it
is precisely the grace of Jesus Christ, the atonement,
which makes it possible for us to keep the first two.
Praise Jesus Christ! Holy holy holy!
Until we can keep them 100 percent of the time,
we have no business being in the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus called us to be perfect. He called us to be
his friends, because we understand him; with him
there are no secrets. The way, the truth, and the
life are laid plainly before us.
