All this recent talk of numbers makes me want to share with you all,
my own experiences with numbers.

When I first found Sterlings site, Greater Things, the Alphabetics
part of it interested me greatly. I have always had a love of numbers
ever since I can remember. I then read the 'man of sin revealed' and
felt that Sterling had gone too far and that he was making truth fit
his own beliefs, rather than the other way round.
Then one evening I was sitting on my bed and pondering a dream I had
had, the night before. In it my Dad gave me a check for £140,000
amongst other things, and as the dream went on, I found that
rather than putting the money in the bank, I was holding on to it.
This was making me anxious, as I knew that it was of no real worth to
me until I cashed it. As I pondered upon this dream, I wondered why I
he had given me a check for £140,000? It seemed like such a random
figure and one that I couldn't relate to any particular item that I
desired. I then thought that perhaps it had something to do with the
gathering of the 144,000 talked about in revelation, but dismissed the
idea, as there was no real association in the dream to indicate that.
I Then had an idea(felt inspired) , to use this number to test for
myself the Alphabetics method . I realised that the only references I
had to hand were my LDS Scriptures, and that the only real dictionary
in them was the relatively small Bible Dictionary/Topical guide. I
also realised that the number 140,000 was far larger than the pages in
such and so decided to strip off the 000, as this would enable me to
find a page to match. Now I must say that I was hoping that there
would be some word on the page that related to my dream, but expecting
that I would start to do, what I had began to think Sterling did with
the words he found, and what people do with horoscopes, i.e. find what
they want to find, and make the words fit already drawn conclusions.
When I opened the Topical Guide to page 140, to my surprise there were
no ten or eleven words on that page, there was just one. In fact it
took up the whole of that page, as well as the end of the previous
page. So I turned to the previous page, to see what the word was and
you can imagine my surprise when I saw that the word for page 140 was,
FATHER.

Sterling then shared the following with me.

>Perhaps the 1,000 part of it is meaningful inasmuch as this is the
>number of aleph/God.

>Word 140 in Greek means, "to choose." Ironically, the Greek word,
>hairetizo, is etymologically very close to the word "heretic."
>(Isn't it the truth that those who start searching will find the
>apostasy of the way they once embraced and become seen as a heretic
>to those who were once their allies.)


>Word 140 in OT Hebrew is the named Adonikam, which means "Jehovah is
>my Lord." I have a note in my margin that the scripture reverence
>cited, Neh. 7:18 is the same as Ezra 2:13, which is a listing of the
>number of children of Adonikam, which is given as 666. An opposite
>contrast witness.

666 - Man of sin, this was what made me doubt the Validity of
Alphabetics, and it was that doubt that then made me want to put it to
the test.

Recently I had started reading a great deal about the 'baptism of
fire' and saw that I had not yet received this necessary cleansing in
my life.

Then I had another dream It was in two parts, I won't relate the
first, but in the second I was in a building standing next to a
lift/elavator. When I began to have a vision of two or three men in
white robes, I could not see anything clearly, but I felt the most
amazing feeling of Love emanating from them, so much so that I started
to cry. After a few moments the lift opened and out stepped two men.
They were dressed as caretakers/Janitors. Somehow I knew that these
wrinkled old men were angels. They then started to tell me things very
quickly, so quickly that I could not quite catch what each was saying.
They told me three things, but I only really caught the second, which
was something to do with believing in Christ. Sensing that they were
about to get back into the lift/elevator and were not going to repeat
themselves, I repeated to them the fragment of what I had heard,
hoping for clarification. They stopped and looked at me with a kind of
empathy, one of them spoke to me and clearly said " if you want to
find the answer , go to the Internet and look up number 859".
End of Dream.

Wow forget symbolism that was specific. So what did I do? Well I did a
search for the number 859, but found nothing. So I wrote to Sterling.
He never replied. I left it for a while then questioned myself as to
why I couldn't search it out for myself? Anyway I managed to find an
online lexicon and checked out the number 859.

Hebrew
859 'attah a primitive pronoun of the second person meaning thou, you,
ye;

Greek
859 aphesis remission, forgiveness, deliverance, liberty;

1) release from bondage or imprisonment
2) forgiveness or pardon, of sins (letting them go as if they
had never been committed), remission of the penalty

I'll let you all draw your own conclusions, but I will say that these
experiences are to me a witness of the link between words, numbers and
prophesy of which Alphabetics forms a valid part.

Finally and Interestingly, Sterling Didn't mention this in his reply
to me, but their is only one occurrence of the Greek word[140]
hairetizo and that is from

Mat 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen [140]; my beloved, in
whom my soul is well pleased : I will put my spirit upon him , and he
shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

(This, by the way, is not me adding any claim to join the list of
chosen ones, just an interesting observation)
