Yesterday I distributed an email message that included an image of Bin Laden
sitting at the table with Bush and others. I recognized it as a doctored
photo, but then did not think to delete it when I forwarded the post. I did
not read the message I forwarded in its entirety, but saw enough valuable
information that I wanted to pass it on. If the post (quite lengthy)
commented on the photo, I missed that.
I did see, however, that the caption of the photo that shows up at the end
of the post says "Can you find Osama in this secret energy commission
meeting of senators and oil execs."
The photo was obviously created as a hoax. One does not need to be schooled
in photography to see that. At the time, I didn't necessarily intend to
forward the message, so I did not think to delete this out. It was later,
as an after thought, that I decided to include this message with the one Liz
Michael wrote.
Please accept my apologies. Unfortunately, things like this work to
discredit what otherwise is important and valid information.
Fair-weather patriots flee when things like this happen. You and I know
better.
