David of old, though anointed next in line to the throne and an able and
courageous warrior, remained respectful of the Lord's choice in Saul for king
over Israel. Though David and the few hundred outcast associated with him where
persecuted and hunted by king Saul, they held true to the hope of Israel. It
wasn't until after Saul was unfortunately killed that David was eventually
seated as the rightful heir.
So it is today. Those who now sit as leaders of church and state are the Lord's
choice for now, being what the people deserve. Meanwhile those who's hearts are
fiercely loyal to the cause of establishing Zion -- a spiritual and temporal
kingdom of God on earth -- find themselves as outcasts.
