DancingPeace is the email discussion forum for the Dances of Universal Peace.

The purpose of this discussion/mailing list is to provide a forum for members of the Dances of Universal Peace Network worldwide to correspond with one another about experiences and questions relating to the Dances. This discussion list offers opportunities for dancers and dance leaders to share and to learn from each other, to appreciate one another's contribution to Murshid Samuel Lewis' vision of "eating, praying, and dancing together," and hopefully to help foster greater connectedness within a growing community of dancers. We hope to support our worldwide Dance family by creating more people-to-people connections, thus serving as antidotes to feelings of isolation.

Please bring your topics of interest or concern relating to the Dances or to our Dance Network to this discussion forum. Bring your questions about the phrases, music, movements, background, or meanings to specific dances, that we may all benefit from the shared answers. Share your Dance stories and inspirations. No matter the topic of discussion, it is the intention of this forum that respect will be extended by all participants to one another and that our discussions will lead to the fruition of the visions above.
