Hi Katje,
About the parade:
I believe Bill said we were not in the parade because we did not get an
application in on time.Because we couldn't decide on what we as a club wanted to
do. But I had heard from another person that it may not matter that we missed
the deadline of the promoters. If we still wanted to be in the parade, we just
had to contact the promoters and say we were interested and perhaps we could
still get in. After Bill said we had not gotten the application in I didn't
think we could try to get into the parade since the deadline had passed. My
friend, who is also in a group, who wanted to be in the parade, who also missed
the deadline, told me the promoters were open to groups who missed the deadline,
to still participate in the parade. That is why I wanted to see if Bill wanted
to check on it or if he wanted one of us to. I am sure he is tired of being the
corperate offices of the Damento's after dealing with the Universtiy looneys.
So I am happy to await his return and see what w!
e can set up. I hope this clears up any miscomunications of my last post.
Everyone is having a great weekend I hope. Its is most bueatiful here in San
Francisco!

Love you all Monica

If we are in the parade, and want to have a "float", we can still do that.
I've got 2 trucks, a trailer, and a small station wagon here in Davis. We can
pick and choose.

And if we don't get a permit, but still want to parade. we can do the "Animal
House" thing as Monica suggested. Cut the vehicles up, mount armor plating on
them, and crash the parade.

We're also doing walk-around and teaching the next day at the Capitol Mall
in Sacramento as a Damento fundraiser... so don't wear yourself out
totally on Saturday!

Hi Katje thanks for the quick response. I take it when you say we are 'In'
you mean in the parade? Just want to make sure I am understanding this.
And if that be true! Mike what are our options for a float...what do we need
to do? When do we need to get started?
Anyone want to do anything special in the parade...throw things at the crowd?
Set off fireworks? what? I need ideas.

We're in. Bill is in contact with the Picnic Day coordinators, but he's
out of town this weekend. He'll be back on Monday, and I'm sure he'll
update us soon after that...

So far I have heard us talk about Picnic day but nothing has happened
so far. I was wondering if we could check with the Parade cordinators
to see if we can still Officially be in the Parade. I talked to
another group and they registered late and still got in. If this is a
job for Bill, if you want any help or a volenteer to check on this just
let me know who to speak to. Otherwise we should just crash it like in
Animal House...anyone have a car we could cut up?

I am going to San Francisco Juggling on Sunday. I was thinking I would
love some company but I will be going to SF on Sat. But if anyone can
get there, by train or someother way, I would be happy to bring you
back to Davis/Sac area. I have some free time on Sunday who is
performing on the Pier? Anyone know? Anyone else in SF that would be
fun to go see during in the am or early pm?

Joey said there was a juggling comedian playing at one of the comedy
clubs here in Sacramento. He went last night to see him maybe he will
give a review of it.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks Goose and Jeff. Both have volenteered! Life savers! If anyone
else wants to get involved they will need some more helping hands. Just
contact them. This a Rennaisance Faire type festival theme for the
school. But the coordinator did not care about what you wore in the
least..just that you might enjoy sharing juggling with the kids.
Thanks again for saving my ass!

My nephew's school is having a Ren Faire type thing on Saturday, April 1rst.
They are in the Carmicheal area. I was trying to set up something through me
but my family decided to rent a house at stinson beach for the weekend.
Since Daddy is going to be there I really can't miss it. Soooo....can
someone else organize a group to go to the school and teach juggling or walk
around..or both? They already have a shady spot picked out for the teaching
and Holly has been telling everyone there will be jugglers. Please help!
Someone Please Volunteer! I promise to be nice to whom ever does this and
not say things behind there back for a whole month! LOL I need a response
ASAP...

Also does anyone want to go to Stinson Beach with me for that weekend? It
should be a lot of fun. I would love to have someone to juggle with and u
can meet the rest of the Buck Clan! Maybe that will scare you away. I guess
this is only for the most brave of you.

I got back yesterday tuesday and after my 11 hour flight from Buenos
Aires to Chicago and 5 hours from Chicago to SF and drive to Sac, I just
didn't want to go anywhere....oops, not even juggling!! (though Johanna
and I did consider it!) ... my health kept getting better and
better....derived mostly from the energy of tango...i kept going to more
and more classes, and kept dancing a lot with my fantastic tango partner
from New Zealand....we'd go to tango milongas and dance until 4 or 5
am....all of Buenos Aires seems to come alive in the evening where
dinner can start at 10 pm....it was a fantastic experience....right now
it feels strange to be back and I am sad because I wanted to stay
longer....I did meet another juggler on the street...jugglers there
juggle for money in front of traffic during the red light....see ya all
hopefully next tuesday....

I know it's kind of far, but there is a Renaissance Faire coming up the the
weekend of April 1 - 2, in Ojai, on Lake Casitas. It's a really nice faire
in a really pretty spot on the lake.

Adding that information about Angel's camp is a hoot...thanks for sneaking it
on at the end of the message...you are so cool about sending out good

is one of those, young, year and a half year old juggling sponges. I am
going to try to get him to some functions. He is all alone up there.
Otherwise see everyone on Tuesday.

juggling. My life is crazy right now, with midterms and ECOS club and

that is why she hasn't show up at juggling. I'll try and make it to

I saw Laser Vaudeville this morning and if you get a chance to see it you
should. The next engagement that is even a little close to here is Redding
check web site below. The addition of Jeff Daymont was wonderful. The show
has juggling hats, boxes, hoops and balls. They also do a sweet three person
club routine that so fits Jeff it seems like he should have been in a teem of
jugglers his whole life. They had a hokie Dragon and another wizard magic act
and of course a cool laser show. I actually think this vaudeville show is as
good as any Vegas show, so see it while you can before some big money hotel
in Vegas snatches them up. Hope this doesn't happen actually. It was good
to see kids as an audience enjoying a juggling show.
I went with excellent company to..thanks to Dean for directions for the
