USA
February 15th is what democracy is all about  - The right to protest, to vote and to choose freely.
The future of the USA - and the world -  depends on the voice of its people this historical day - SPEAK UP!
For the first time, a massive coordination between peace-loving people abroad and peace-loving people in the United States is occurring.
This is unprecedented! Not only is there joint action, but it is happening before a war has even begun! Tell all your friends and co-workers
who may never have attended a demonstration before that now is the time to stand up and prevent the beginnings of a nuclear holocaust,
the mass slaughter of thousands of Iraqi civilians, and perhaps an end to civilization itself as we know it! The stakes are higher than ever
before. Only the power of the world's citizens can hope to save the earth for our children and grandchildren.

HUMAN SHIELDS
A group of volunteers headed for Iraq on 25th January 2003, to act as human shields to try to prevent the
outbreak of war which the United States and Britain have said will take place if Saddam Hussein fails to disarm.

The 'human shields' campaign is the brainchild of Ken Nichols O'Keefe, a former US marine, who in December 2002
decided that people power was needed to try to stop the US and its allies from going to war with Iraq.

The group of about 60 volunteers includes Britons, Americans, Spaniards, Brazilians, Australians
and Israelis, ranging in age from 20 to 60. Many more volunteers are joining them along the way.
