Czolem!
Witamy do Dywizja Czarnieckiego! Welcome to The Czarniecki Division!
A meeting place for the members of Czarniecki's Division. Re-enactors of the proudest and most distinguished cavalry unit of the 17th Century Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
As of late summer 2007 we will have the services of a working replica breech load cannon.
Our active members are based in New England and the Mid -Atlantic states. We also coordinate yearly events with other 17th cen. Polish, Western and Kozak reenactment groups like Boleslaw Orlicki's Light Artillery group, The Katski Regiment and Butler's Dragoons and Kozaki.
Through out the fall months you can find us encampt at Time line events, Military reenactments and Polish festivals around the north-east and Mid-Atlantic.
This is our 5 year as a unit in the service of King Jan II Kazimierz and we have over 20 active, fully dress out members. Our members portray Polish winged hussars, Pancerni Kozaks, Light cavalry, Tatars and Polish/Kozak style infantrymen. This year we'd also like to welcome several noblewomen who will be joining us from Maine.
At present we have on-line members around the world, so if there is anything you'd like to discuss about the 'Old Commonwealth -log on.
