"Who is it? What do you want?"<br><br> Then the door
opened before the young man could get away. The man was

The young man thrust out the gallon of milk, "Here, I

rushed down a hall way speaking loudly in Spanish. Then
from down the hall came a woman carrying the milk
toward the kitchen. The man was following her holding
a<br> baby. The baby was crying. The man had tears
streaming down his face. The man began speaking and half
crying, "We were just praying. We had some big bills this
month and we ran out of money. We didn't have any milk
for our baby. I was just praying and asking God to
show me how to get some milk."<br><br> His wife in the
kitchen yelled out, "I ask him to send an Angel with
some...Are you an Angel?" The young man reached into his
wallet and pulled out all the money he had on him and
put in the<br> man's hand.<br> He turned and walked
back toward his car and the tears were streaming down
his face.<br><br> He knew that God still answers
prayers and that God still speaks to His people.

ear Online Study group,<br><br>Earlier on just
before our first study session started, I got this story
in an email from my cousin. The timing was
absolutely awesome as we were going to talk about
communication with God.<br><br>So...I believe this story is
meant to be shared with all of you :<br><br><br> A
young man had been to Wednesday night Bible Study. The
Pastor had shared about listening to God and obeying the
Lord's voice.<br><br>&gt; The young man couldn't help
but wonder, "Does God still speak to
people?"<br><br>&gt; After service he went out with some friends for
coffee and pie and they discussed the message. Several
different ones talked about how God had led them in
different ways.<br> It was about ten o'clock when the young
man started driving home. Sitting in his car, he just
began to pray, "God.. If you still speak to people
speak to me. I will listen. I will do my<br> best to
obey."<br> As he drove down the main street of his town, he
had the strangest thought, stop and buy a gallon of
milk. He shook his head and said out loud, "God is that
you?"<br> He didn't get a reply and started on toward home.
But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk. The
young man thought about Samuel and how he didn't
recognize the voice of God, and how little Samuel ran to
Eli.<br><br> "Okay, God, in case that is you, I will buy the
milk."<br> It didn't seem like too hard a test of obedience.
He could always use the milk. He stopped and
purchased the gallon of milk and<br> started off toward
home. As he passed Seventh street, he again felt the
urge "Turn down that<br> street."<br> This is crazy he
thought and drove on pass the intersection. Again, he
felt that he should turn down seventh street. At the
next intersection,<br> he turned back and headed down
Seventh. Half jokingly, he said out loud, "Okay, God, I
will". He drove several blocks, when suddenly, he felt
like he should stop. He pulled over to the<br>curb and
looked around. He was in a semi-commercial area of town.
It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst of
neighborhoods either. The businesses were closed and most of
the<br> houses looked dark like the people were already
in bed.<br><br> Again, he sensed something, "Go and
give the milk to the people in the house across the
street." The young man looked at the house. It was dark
and it looked like the people were either gone or
they were already asleep. He started to open the door
and then sat back in the car<br> seat. "Lord, this is
insane. Those people are asleep and if wake them up, they
are going to be mad and I will look stupid."<br><br>
Again, he felt like he should go and give the milk.
Finally, he opened the door, "Okay God, if this is you, I
will go to the door and I will give them the milk. If
you want me to look like a<br>crazy person, okay. I
want to be obedient. I guess that will count for
something but if they don't answer right away, I am out of
here."

here's no need for apologies, everyone is new at
some point! For Monday, I had people read the
Introduction to the Guidebook and choose one concept from
pages 16-17 as their "favorite." It's not "due" Monday
because I will be using the responses througout the
study, so all that you will need to be prepared is an
open heart! Looking forward to seeing you
there!<br><br>-Vik

I am excited about joining the discussions on
Monday nights. I am curious - should we have something
specifically in mind for Monday's discussion? Or, just launch
into Chapter One as per the study guide?
Thanks!<br><br>Danielle

had a life-changing and profound experience
last night. It will take a while to explain, but I
think it's worth sharing.<br><br>I am in love with a
woman, which is more accurately put as "I have become
aware of another aspect of my Self and experiencing
Oneness between us." She may be interested in me, but she
doesn't know about my feelings for her . . . yet.
<br><br>Last night I went up to New York City to spend time
with her and some other friends of ours. We all had a
great time, until when we were ready to part ways I
realized that I was already too late for my bus home! Her
and her friend offered to give me money to take a
cab, but I refused on the basis that it was my
responsibility to find my way home.<br><br>So this created a
chain of events and complications that ultimately led
me back to stay at her dorm (but not in her room, in
a guest suite- she didn't have any room and I
refused anyway for propriety's sake). She left me her
books and notebook so that if security guards came by
it would look like I fell asleep studying. Then she
and her friend left and said to wake them up before I
left in the morning.<br><br>So there I was, unable to
go to sleep because of all the stress going on . . .
and an Idea came. From the Source of all Ideas. "Take
some paper, and write Thank You letters to both of
them for their kindness . . . and in the one to R (her
names starts with an R but I won't put it in for
privacy) tell her your feelings. Completely, honestly, and
hold nothing back."<br><br>And here's the profound
part- for the next 30 - 40 mins, I was a channel for
God. God wrote those letters- they were beautiful, and
heartfelt. In that time I was doing nothing but God's will,
and it was the first time I had done that. What I
learned- with love everything is easy. The letters were
finished in one shot, no drafts, no corrections. And they
were perfect.<br><br>This morning I gave her the
letters to give to her friend and the one for herself.
How they are going to react, I really don't know. But
"It is not so important how well a message is
received as how well it is sent."<br><br>For those 30-40
mins, I was completely open to Joy, Truth, and Love. It
was magical. Now I know that it is possible to
experience it, that it is not just a concept in the books. I
will keep you "posted" on what happens. :)<br><br>Love
and Light,<br>Vik

elow is a post I made over at the regular group.
With the high volume of posts some may have missed it.
I think I am going to go through with a new
unlisted group since a couple of people have expressed an
interest.<br><br>Michael.<br><br><br>I want to respond to a few concerns that
have
arisen here lately. I am truly sorry to see so many
wonderful people express the need to leave. And I am sorry
to see so many people being hurt by various posts.
It's one thing to say "well, you chose it" yet many
here are trying to better themselves, trying to
understand the concepts of CWG. They came here to discuss
ideas, not be judged. I do believe many of the posts
have been misread, others have been quite obvious in
their message. <br><br>Some people have welcomed Moses
and others with love and joy. I for one accept his
presence here as an example of what is "out there", and
how we need to accept and love everyone and thing.
Some people haven't gotten this far, they want to, but
haven't made it. We should respect that. Some have made
it but are world weary and need a place to discuss
their beliefs in a non-judgemental place, a comfortable
place, in quiet tones, with gentle
discussions.<br><br>Moses is not the only catalyst for discussion here.
Before he came we had many good discussions. He isn't
even here every day. There is a lot to say that
doesn't include his comments. And most of the times it is
a rehashing of the same discussions over and over.
So I don't feel that his presence has generated that
much discussion.<br><br>So where does that leave those
people who don't want this? There is musicmonk's study
group. But that is a more structured club, which may not
appeal to some (looking forward to it, Vik!). There is
Tiaka's club, but I'm not sure where it stands right now
(Tiaka?). So I'm suggesting a new group, not to replace but
to compliment this one. This group is listed. Anyone
can join. Think of it as a public square where anyone
can get up on their soap box and say what they like.
Great! I love it! So, I'm thinking of starting an
un-listed group. Think of it as a personal invite to my
house for some coffee and chocolate cake (don't worry,
cyber cake is non-fattening). I won't allow any
mudslinging since I'd have to clean it up :)<br><br>If you
like this idea e-mail me or respond here. I can be
reached at MichaelMF@.... If enough people want to
then I'll set it up.<br><br>Love,<br><br>Michael.

he reason I feel that I will be able to lead the
Study Group well is not because I am better than anyone
else at this stuff but because I have read a very
large amount of other spiritual works on almost every
aspect, and these are great resources I can draw upon to
help illustrate the concepts in CWG. Different people
connect to material in different ways and thus if I can
present the concepts from many angles, more people will
"get it." <br><br>I really do not want this to be a
"straight out of the book" course, because then you could
just buy the book and do it on your own- there would
be no benefit in coming here, except maybe the
chats. I want this Study do be alive and dynamic, using
the Guidebook and Book 1 as REFERENCES upon which we
can begin EXPERIENCING our Highest Selves in every
moment of our lives. <br><br>The Guidebook will open the
door to the lessons of CWG, but this Study Group will
be walking around in the places opened to us. Sniff
around. Examine things. Get a feel for what a particular
concept FEELS like when it's lived. Hopefully, when we
realize the joy it brings we will adopt it, naturally.
Then we move on to the next room.<br><br>Truth, Love,
and Joy (it matters not in what order they are placed
