Mark your calendar for the Fall 2007 Beaumont Ranch Civil War reenactment October 12th, 13th, and 14th!

The Civil War Center of Texas (CWCT) is an educational, non-profit living history group established to further the understanding of civilian and military life during the Civil War. Based out of Beaumont Ranch near Grandview, Texas, the CWCT is involved with the semi-annual Beaumont Ranch Civil War Re-enactment Weekend.

Affiliated with the CWCT is the Civilian Reenactor Group whose purpose is to work alongside the battlefield groups in order to improve the non-combatant impressions and create an atmosphere where civilian living history can grow. Classes (see files) meet regularly and provide insightful instruction to living historians of all ages, backgrounds, and experience. They are actively recruiting and welcome any inquiries.
