Hey star_trek_lego. I don't mean to make fun or
offend anyone about what happend yesterday in NY and
Washington, but maybe you should make a movie about this
tragedy out of Legos. It might be very interesting. But
as I already said, I don't want to offend anyone
about this idea. Even I've lost some friends in this
tragedy. Possibly. But to make a movie about this would be
a very good idea.
I received my new lego catalog today and I must say I kinda like the new Harry
Potter sets.<br><br>Plus it is nice to see they are bringing back some of the
classic sets.
Hello . I would like you to check out my club .

My local Walmart is cleaning house getting ready for the Fall toys so I was able
to pick up a couple of sets for only $5 each.<br><br>Check your local Walmarts
for some lego deals.
I have finally posted the photos of my latest Star Trek Lego guys.<br><br><a

what you think<br><br>ps....the new ones are the VOYAGER and DS9 plus a few more
in TOS.
Welcome to the list and thanks for the kind
comments.<br><br>For the Star Trek Lego people I use standard model
paints. As for the heads/hair/accessories I have been
using Crayola Modeling Magic. I know most people use
Fimo or Sculpty (and they are more durable and
permanent) but I am a bit lazy and did not want to have to
bake my figures before painting.<br><br>Anything else
ask away :)
I just joined and think this is great. My grandson
loves legos and I figure we could do some of this
together. I do have a couple of questions.<br><br>What are
you using to make the head pieces on the Star Trek
figures?<br><br>What kind of paint do you use?<br><br>I'll probably
have a few more question as we get into
this<br><br>Thank You for any assistance<br>Christine
Thanks...<br><br>But I do think Dexter would be hard to do...<br><br>let me
think about that one.<br><br>Currently working on Xena and Buffy Mini
figs.<br>LUK when I have something posted.
Wow Im going to have to try that.<br>Im also
experementing with a varnish mix that can give the bricks a
strange shine. It might also be the answer if you dont
want the brick to lose its shine after you have rubed
out what you like. I have noticed in one of my
friends sets a Santa Claus beard. Does anybody know where
this would have came from?<br><br>Xavier
I learned something great last week, a normal
pencil eraser will remove the printing from lego bricks.
Minifig customization could never be easier. I've all
ready tried, some heads look great with stuff missing.
I "erased" the eyebrows off of the female indian
head, and it liiks a whole lot better. I'm not
tackleing my 15 some Res-Q minifig's I'm removing the
Res-Q, so that they'll make great
firefighters.<br><br>Josh (I'm running low on erasers, oh, and it will take
the semi-gloss shine off of the brick.)
Hi I am Xavier Dyet.<br>I just joined your club
so heres some info about myself. I love lego. Ever
since I was 5I have been colecting it. Im 14 and I live
in Australia. I am mainly interested in Robots, City
and custom lego. I want to find some custome sets but
of course here in australia you have a 2% chance of
finding any. Well thats it from me.<br><br>Xavier Dyet
I don't have it but I seen on the website that
they have an article about LEGO.<br><br>I guess it is
more of a LEGO wishlist.<br><br>Anyone see this? What
are they wishing LEGO would make?<br><br>Just
wondering....perhaps I should get the mag...or at least go tot Borders
and read it :)

as I get a chance to log on at home...it is a no no
here at work

Hi! <br>I dont know much about customizing Legos,
but I am interested in seeing what you guys have
done. <br>I am 33 yrs old and live in West Virginia,
USA. My son got Lego Studios for his B-day back in Feb
and I have spent the last 6 months making Lego
Movies.<br>My first movie can be found at
<br>www.geocities.com/stawmp/lego2.html<br>Unfortunately, the 15MB high quality
mpg file no longer works,
so you have to settle for the crappy RM file.<br>My
second movie is nearing completion and should be ready
by the first of August.<br>Rock on!
recently got the Studio set for $1<br><br>that's
right...with shipping it was only $11 for a 180 dollar
set...pretty cool.<br><br>Now I need to come up with a script
idea for all my little custom mini figs. :)
Target is reducing prices on some of their LEGO
sets. Next step Clearence...if they stick around that
long.<br><br>With the price drop I took the opportunity to grab the
Background set (1315) for twenty bucks off. <br><br>Now off
to customize it...need a moving star background :)
